‘Voland Cottage’ (valley of love
and delight) is a delightful 200 year old end stone cottage set in the
beautiful tiny hamlet of Port-na-craig Pitlochry. Once a jacobite
stables & field hospital now provides luxury self-catering accommodation
for up to 6 people.
This excellently equipped and
very comfortable cottage has 2 double bedrooms (one en-suite) with
walk-in playmate shower and a main bathroom with shower & whirlpool
bath. Both bedrooms have double beds and the sleeping arrangements for
the extra 2 persons is by way of luxury sofa-bed located in the living
area.
There is a large kitchen with
farmhouse-style table, and is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, oven & hob etc. granite worktops. The living room is
luxuriously fitted with leather suite & recliner and flat-screen TV with
DVD Player. Internet connection is also available. Heating is by way
of oil central heating and coal-effect electric fire in the living
room.
To the rear of the property
there is a tiered garden, the top tier being a terraced area with lit
decking area and brick built barbecue. Parts of the garden are Scottish
flowers (courtesy of butterfliesandbeasties.co.uk ) and a herb garden
with lots of flowers. The famous ‘Festival Theatre’ is accessible
through a back garden gate. To the front of the property is the famous
Port-na-craig restaurant with magnificent views over the river. There
is off-road parking for 2 cars.

The cottage is excellently
situated for all attractions/amenities in and around Pitlochry. |
