As a family day trip including my Niece in a wheelchair, we visited Pitlochry. It was a warm sunny day. What a gorgeous friendly town. Loads of different shops, from various Charity Shops to sweet shops to souvenir shops to coffee shops and restaurants and hotels, to mention just a few! We decided upon The Old Coach House for lunch predominantly because it was quiet, with lots of tables free outside. There was a slight slope which took us to the outdoor tables, easily accessed by wheelchair. It had a fairly extensive menu. Between us we can highly recommend the *smoked haddock & potato soup, lentil soup (today’s soup of the day) and jacket potato with grated cheese. By the time we left, every table was taken outside. It seemed to be a good place for cyclists to refuel too! *soup was called something different on the menu, I wish I could remember what it was! I am presuming that it is a Scottish name (not coming from Scotland, I am not too sure) I hope that you too have the same experience that we did today.
