Guest access

The Bothan is fully equipped. You will have most things you need in the house. Outside the garden is at your disposal as is the decking area, with table and chairs at your disposal for seating, even eating outside.

Interaction with guests

If I am in Polbain, which is about half the time, my door is always open, should you want any help with anything.

The neighbourhood

Polbain offers tranquility above all. It is quiet with quite superb views over the seas and Summer Isles. Coigach as a wholes has wonderful walking, the superb Achnahaird beach and some of the best sea-kayaking in Britain as well as a good shop and two bars and restaurants.

Getting around

The twice daily bus passes by the front door and can be hailed to take you to other parts of the peninsular or to Ullapool with connections to the North and to Inverness and the South.

Other things to note

Note there is no public transport on Sundays and the local shop in Achiltibuie is also closed.
